Healthy habits

After Christmas is good to restore a healthy eating habits, so in the unit number 5 we are going to learn know how to have a balanced diet.

First of all you have a look the food pyramid.The food pyramid helps kids to receive all the nutrients growing children need each day from the five food groups. The fat and sweets group it is not a very healthy group you have to eat sparingly. These are:

  • Fruit 
  • Vegetables 
  • Protein – this includes lean meat, fish, poultry, eggs, nuts, legumes 
  • Grains – this includes bread, cereals, rice, pasta and noodles 
  • Dairy – this includes milk, yoghurt, and cheese
